Michelle Iannantuono is an award-winning queer filmmaker and 3D artist from Charleston, SC. Her features include 2018’s Livescream, which was nominated for a Rondo Award and won Best Director at Nightmares Film Festival; 2020’s Detroit Evolution, a queer transformative fan film in the Detroit Become Human video game universe that has surpassed 2.5 million views on YouTube; and 2023’s Livescreamers, which won the George A Romero Fellowship at Salem Horror Film Festival. Her upcoming short, Lazzo, was funded by the SC Indiegrants and uses motion capture to be fully animated in Unreal Engine 5.
With a progressive creative mission and having previously hosted events in NYC, Munich, Detroit, and London, her company Octopunk Media continues to work in the spheres of gaming, fandom, and queer cinema, fostering an international community of fans.
